I have no idea when pictures will get placed in albums, my home will become decorated like those on HGTV, or I will actually "feel prepared" not just scrambling but somehow we do make day to day work. We have great times and a lot of fun. I found your blog by Googling "working mom who is overwhelmed" or something like that...I swear the Letter to Moms came up and it was a sign to stop beating myself up and just do my best. I have to accept that I will never be the mom to make my own wreaths for every season, let the elf on the shelf make a complete mess of my house, or have repurposed labeled baskets for everything. It's never going to happen!!! Thank you truly!! And I love to, NEED to write, so I will gate them up in the living room and sit here where Joseph can't get to me and write (with or without earplugs). I think the biggest thing I've learned so far is not to feel guilty about needing some coping mechanisms. Needing to take a breather or do the less perfect parenting thing in order to survive is sometimes absolutely the right thing... because you have to survive. I LOVE LOVE LOVE your letter to moms and now I'm going back and reading all of your entries. So glad I found you!!Amber Bourgeoisnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-153983850882205178.post-57109289486070477142013-03-28T11:53:34.826-04:002013-03-28T11:53:34.826-04:00I agree! Walking clears my mind and helps me feel good about how I look, there is no time to waste when it comes to sleep so nursing babies sleep with me, GOAL and daily prayer is always get me through this day with patience!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
